I agree about David Bullard's work...I have one of his holsters for my Taurus PT145. Unfortunately, although the holster is top-notch, the pistol is very thick with its double-stack .45 ACP magazine (as well as HEAVY), I don't carry it much. It's very tuckable, but the bulge is way more noticeable than with my other concealed carry options.Barron76 wrote:DM Bullard makes some great leather IWB holsters. I use his holsters & belts almost exclusively... doesn't hurt that he's a Texan located in Azle either! Really good stuff, I highly recommend his products.
Lately I've been carrying a S&W J-Frame in a "Bodhi" IWB holster made by Monica Kuehn (another Texan). The J-Frame just "disappears" under a t-shirt, and it's easy to remove the holster or put it back on without getting completely undressed. This is usually what I wear if I'm wearing shorts. Monica's website can be found here: http://monicakuehnleather.blogspot.com/ Just like David Bullard, she's worth the wait.
If I'm wearing jeans, I'll still carry my Kimber Pro 1911 in a Crossbreed Supertuck. You can't beat it for comfort, but since I have an all-steel 1911, it does require a pretty sturdy belt.
