I don't have the combat cut, because quite frankly I prefer comfort over getting a complete grip. I can still get the pistol out of the holster quickly enough in my opinion, and it's very comfortable to wear all day long. I'm willing to gamble perhaps a slightly slower draw over daily comfort, but that's just me.

Just to chime in...I've been carrying my Kimber 1911 with a CBST for over a year now. It's very comfortable once you find the "butter zone" of where to wear it. I doesn't bother me even on long road trips.
