Interesting...I know you're not supposed to play with statistics...but by this, only about 22 of a 25,000 would be licensed to carry? Thats assuming they all are carrying as well....very interesting. And we're SO worried about shootouts....maybe if they were all in the same debate class..

Bingo. In addition, upperclassmen are over the age of 21. I'm 22 and graduating in August. Faculty and staff should be allowed to carry. One other thing to consider is some people go into the military first, then college.1TallTXn wrote:You're right, this bill wouldn't affect most students. Just because something doesn't directly affect you is a poor excuse to not stand up for the rights of others to defend themselves, IMO.
