It would have to go back to the Senate and be voted on again since the Senate did not pass this amendment.

It's too late in the session to play that game.

Apparently requiring people to obtain an ID to vote is a horrible burden on those who are poor or live in underserved areas, but requiring a CHL class, a fee paid to the state and insurance to carry a gun is not.

Makes sense.

That was the same comment I had when DPS asked for Jan implementation instead of September.

Hoping they keep any bad amendments shut down today.
