I'll third the EMP recommendation. I have one and I love it.

Re: Brass Storage
We go through a lot of milk at casa de foo, so I use milk jugs. I cut the top off with a razor blade. Works ok.

Re: Handyman Advice Needed For Gun Safe
If it's not lined with sheetrock (I'm guessing it isn't since you could just screw into it), you might be able to use magnets.

There's a thread on xdtalk about this ammo. The spread is too much, IMO.

Re: ar15 red dot sight. Yea or Nay?
I have an eotech on my AR that is set up to co-witness with the iron sights in the lower third of the window. I like that setup because it gets the dot up over the front sight and helps me see the target better when using the eotech. If the eotech fails or whatever, you get the proper cheekweld and ...

Re: Possible answer to EMP JHP feeding problems
That Corbon round looks like it may use the Hornady XTP bullet based on your picture. I could not get that bullet to feed reliably at any COL I tried in my EMP. The combo just did not work for me. Gold Dots run great though. BTW, they make a 9mm Gold Dot specifically for short barreled guns like th...

Re: New Toy.....
Additionally, hand cycled several mags of FMJ thru the gun with no problems but could not get a JHP to feed reliably. Tried all three mags and the JHP wants to nose dive on the feed ramp. What JHP are you using? Mine will feed 124 grain Gold Dots and 147 grain WWB JHP perfectly, but does not like t...

Re: New Toy.....
My EMP was a problem child at first too. I sent it back to SA and they did a bunch of work to it and I have had only one stoppage I can remember in the last several thousand rounds, except for some reloads I made using 115 gr Hornady XTP bullets, which just flat out wouldn't feed for anything. The a...

If you include a bullet puller on your Christmas list, you can save them up and pull them later.

If you're not already running one of the rechargeable CR123 batteries, try it what that. It will be even brighter.austinrealtor wrote: Seriously, I can't believe it myself, but this tiny little Fenix light with only a single CR123 battery is brighter than ALL of them.

Re: .380 Underpowered for self defense?
I call it marginal.
If you do carry a .380, look at all the ballistic tests you can. IMO, FMJ is superior to JHP in the .380 because it has better penetration.
