Need a Knife Handle
I have a hunting knife that my dad made while stationed in Puetro Rico during WWII. I found it in an old fishing tackle box recently. The handle is made from plexiglass (?) aircraft windows, I think, but has begun rotting off. Do any of you know of a custom knife maker or taxidermist located in the ...

Re: Collin County Gun Range
I always liked Backwood Traps in Little Elm. Also closed by NIMBY's. You have a good memory Wheelgun. We used to shoot at the Back Woods Traps when we first moved to Frisco. That was about 13 years ago. Loved B.W.T! I liked the idea I could just back my car up to the shooting lane and all my stuff ...

Re: Dallas area shooting ranges
I am surprised nobody has mentioned the brand new Frisco Gun Club (friscogunclub.com). We just joined today because today is the last day of pre-opening pricing. Hope it's worth the membership cost. We bought the Platinum family membership. Pretty fancy for a gun range but it's only a few minutes f...

Re: Frisco Gun Club
Drove by the Frisco Gun Club recently. The walls are about up and they are working on the interior, I think. I was real excited when I heard they were putting a gun range in Frisco, since I am about ten minutes from the location. Then I saw the prices! WTH!!! $300.00 a year (family membership) and ...

Guns should always be treated as if they are loaded and you can bet mine usually are!

Re: Witnessed an ammo frenzy tonight!!
I must have just missed ammo stocking time yesterday at Wal Mart in Frisco, Tx, they had one box of 44 mag and one of 38 spec. The rest was the usual rifle ammo and 17 HMR's. If your daughter is buying 1:18 die cast cars I will be selling a good sized collection soon. Priced way too cheap, but trimm...

Re: Cancellation of Lewisville Gun Show(s)
The last gun show we went to was in Lewisville quite a while back. We didn't realize how many bargains we were looking at back then! We only bought one Magpul 30 rd. windowed, AR mag for about $15.00. I have regretted not buying more, could have made some money lately!

Re: MN: Man arrested after killing burglars
No matter how this shakes out it does not put gun owners in a good light. All it takes is one crazy nut case to get the gun grabbers all worked up. I would have no problem shooting anyone entering my home with intent of doing me, or my family, harm, or stealing my stuff. But it's really hard to beli...

Two burglars shot by idiot!
This is the kind of shooting that makes all gun owners look bad. This guy executed two teens who were burglarizing his home. He had every right to shoot them but after shooting them as they lay on the floor and he finished them off with head, and under the chin, shots he called "good finishing ...

Re: VOTE!
We voted yesterday (Sat. 10/27) in Denton Co. Fire Station #7 for Frisco, Tx. Long line. Looked like mostly sane people, with a few exceptions, so my guess is that R & R got most of the votes. We voted straight Republican. I will never vote for anything with a "D" by it's name after B-...
