Just got off the phone with the post office manager in Plano and I was told that firearms are not permitted in the "federal facility". I had to explain to him what a CHL was, so who knows................guess it depends on who we talk to.
Looks like I'm back to where i started.

Just spoke to me neighbor......he's in the Academy for Dallas PD and he asked their instructors about carrying in a Post Office by a CHL holder. Their position on a civilian CHL holder carrying in a Post Office is that it is entirely within our rights to carry there. They're the ones I would need to worry about.........so looks like I'll be carrying there from now on.

I think it's great that these topics are discussed. They bring up legit concerns and help educate people like me who need to continiously learn more about our carry rights. So far, from what I've read, we can carry in a Post Office as long as we interpret the law so it benifits us, but should be wary since it can be interpreted to be used against us.
