report details that a factory safety was altered in such a fashion? Your integrity as a safety-minded shootist would be
assailed by the other side's lawyer. Not good.
A properly operating grip safety on an XD is the reason that we don't have a common symptom called "Springfield Armory XD leg",
unlike some other brand associated with self-perforating one's leg. :-)
