In the 10/1/23 Dallas Morning News, someone made a comment about Elon Musk's move to Texas.

It went something like this: "Texas was definitely alluring, but Dallas was a little TOO MUCH TEXAS, so the decision was made to go to Austin".

Living in the DFW area, sometimes I feel like Dallas isn't "TEXAS ENOUGH".

Some years ago I attended the Texas State Fair in Dallas on a busy day. I was one of only 2 men that day at the Fair that was wearing a Stetson. :-(

Regarding the long wait for McFlurries at Mickey D's:

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal (I could not post the link since I do not pay WSJ)
detailed how social media complaints about McFlurry machines always being out of service were
the biggest complaints that McDonald's was receiving.

Cause of the problem: Excessive 5 hour cleanings of the complicated McFlurry machines.

FYI: I searched for the "John Pearl Elementary School" by the way.
It is located in Bohemia, Long Island, New York.

Guns are hardly allowed in NYS, so I would guess the sign was Photoshopped, IMHO.
