I've been carrying (OWB/cover shirt) a 3" Ruger SP-101, .357 mag, 5-6 days a week for the last 11 years. Bought it in 2010 (very lightly used 1993 model) for field carry while surveying. Then whenever I dress with my cowboy boots (only have cowboy boots and work boots), there's a mint condition 1963 S&W Model 36 in the top left boot, no matter which semi-auto might be in the waistband. I've carried revolvers (mainly for snake shot) while surveying for nearly 40 years. Never worried about round count, and normally don't go anywhere that would require over 5 or so.
