Ok I tried cutting and you guys were right. I couldn't cut the wire with scissors. It would only cut the rubber coating but not the wire itself. =)
I feel a little more confident in this little safe. My model's latch isn't as secure as the center of mass one. I'm sure the center of mass one will hold against prying.

I have a safe exactly like the center of mass one, but I use it for another purpose. I leave it halfway exposed under the seat and keep my gun in the glovebox. The little safe makes a good distraction and they'll spend their trying to pull the safe off the cable.
A pair of scissors or even a serrated knife will easily cut through that cable. I drilled holes on the bottom of the safe, bolted a bracket to the safe, and used heavy duty bicycle chain to secure it to my seat. =)
