As I mentioned in the first post of this thread, I had recently purchased a Fobus roto paddle style holster. There is simply one things that this thing is good for...open carry! Not a "conceal" holster in the least.
After going through my infamous drawer of unwanted holsters, I came across the very first holster I purchased (for my specific gun, not just a generic/one size fits all style holster) and I re-discovered my IWB leather holster made by High Noon Holsters. Simple design, leather, small, one clip for belt. I think all my problems may be solved. I have worn this holster for 3 days and so far, have really liked it. The undershirt is a must to prevent chafing, etc. After a few days I have forgotten it was there.
There is some "tightness" around the waist due to the fact that this foreign object has never been there. Simple solution...The next time I have to buy pants, I will just compensate for this.
Again, I truly appreciate everyone’s input on this matter. I can honestly say that I probably never would have reconsidered this specific holster if it was not for all the input I have received. Thank you again!!

Re: This was never going to happen to me.....
All,
I would just like to take a moment to all of those who offered their suggestions and recommendations to me in my search for the perfect holster. Why the “perfect” holster may or may not exist, I have learned of many products and carry methods that I would have never know of were it not for this forum.
I read this forum at least 5 days a week while at work, reading current discussions as well as the many topics that have transpired throughout the years. There is an unbelievable amount of knowledge on this forum, and I am proud to be a member of such a reputable source of information and ideas.
Thank you again

This was never going to happen to me.....
....but I have to admit that I am acquiring quite a worthless drawer of holsters that I am never going to use. I have had my plastic for about 2 months and I simply can not find a comfortable, CONCEALABLE, way to carry my non pro pt111. I am an athletic guy with very little body fat...6'1'' 210lbs.
For example...I recently purchased a fobus roto paddle. I am trying to spend less on holsters now until I find the way I would like to carry on a very regular basis. I feel that I must wear a shirt that that resembles a bed sheet to not have obvious printing. I HATE this look.
Can someone PLEASE give me any advise......I love the pistol and I am very comfortable/proficient with it. I have a 1911 that I love, but would rather carry the 300 dollar pistol around that I may have to leave in my truck if needed. I know this is all opinion and personal preference but I am hoping someone will tell me something that I have not tried.
Thank you in advance!
