Re: Open Carry Article in Star Telegram
So let me get this straight. One of the arguments against OC is that ant-gun businesses will learn how to legally prohibit open carriers as well as CHLers. That seems like a good thing, now I would no longer have to wonder if my purchases were supporting someone with political views I do not suppor...

It will screw up the nice 50 star flag we have now.
With 51, we'd have to go with 3 rows of 17 stars each! :-)

Finally someone points out the real issue here

Re: Billie Joe Shaver NOT GUILTY in shooting outside bar
Don't bring a knife to a gun fight. "rlol" I hadn't even thought of that angle. Maybe this whole scenario just proves the insanity of the 51% law. The knife guy probably thought he could harass BJS in the bar because "guns are illegal in bars" so I'll just use my knife to intimi...

Re: So how do you aim a Garand?
Thanks for all the replies guys. It turns out that it was like Oldschool had suggested, the sight was dirty. I cleaned it off with a tissue and I can see through it just fine now. It is amazing how little grease was causing the problem, I can not even tell that I removed anything until I look throug...

So how do you aim a Garand?
I am kinda embarrassed I can' t figure this out myself, but how in the world do you use the sights on the M1 Garand? I recently got one from the CMP and can not see the front sight through the rear sight. The rear sight is a washer like thing with a very small hole. From looking around online, it lo...

Red light cameras
Just wondering what the status is in Texas with red light cameras. They appear to be legal for cities to put up, but I remember a bill moving through the last legislative session to end them. Does anyone know there status?

Installing a Safe
I am very close to getting a gun safe, and I am curious about the anchoring of the safe to the concrete foundation. I will have it lag bolted to some studs in the wall, but I have never dealt with drilling through concrete. Is this some thing one person can do on there own? I have carpet in the area...

Re: How would you improve the Texas CHL program?
Cut the garbage. Guns and booze don't miz just as cars and booze don't mix. If you think you should be able to drink while caryring you need to stay home and not endanger the rest of our families-just your own. I can say the same thing about "booze" mixing with all kinds of other of your ...
