Pretty bleak future for me.
I really need some prayers. My wife had a stroke with her complete knee replacement and it took 4 months to get her home. Two months later, I have been told I have esophageal cancer. It is stage 4, and has spread to the liver, lymph nodes, and lung. Severe shortness of breath, anemia, and pain means...

Pretty cool, Voter Id passed at a 19-11 vote. and in a separate amendment (30-0) The CHL plastic was made an official voter id card.

Re: Palin, Lubbock, and a Gun ban?
Makes me wonder if the stated reasons are bogus, and the real reason was Secret Service related. Maybe she is considered a candidate for national office, and we just haven't been informed yet.
My explanation is much more eloquent than saying the DA is a dummy (remember no abreviations).

one of the studies referenced. http://www.uphs.upenn.edu/news/News_Releases/2009/09/gun-possession-safety/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Penn researchers investigated the link between being shot in an assault and a person’s possession of a gun at the time of the shooting....

Re: Would anybody support a NCIC check for buying ammo?
Another aspect to remember is that huge volumes of ammo are sold via mail order and over the internet. That would get shut down by an NICS requirement. For those of you would might think even for a millisecond, "when I don't buy over the internet" , the competition that arises from a nati...

Re: Would anybody support a NCIC check for buying ammo?
I see plenty wrong with it. Some folks buy ammo by the case and shoot it hundreds of rounds at a time. Just cause it's fun. We don't need to go on a terrorist watch list because of it. Exactly. Someone who participates in IDPA or other action sports can easily go through several hundred rounds per ...

Some of those kids showed very solid common sense. It's a shame this teacher is on a jihad to browbeat that out of them.

Re: Class Video
No complete videos, only clips here. I think doing the complete video would be a violation of copyright laws being that your charging for the class that your showing them in. DPS was handing out the list as part of the "package" at school. Somehow, I don't think they would encourage the p...

Clue the rest of us in - what is Fox 5.3? TIA SIA I should buy stock. :) It's heavy duty pepper spray, with 5.3 milliion Scoville units of heat, plus a a UV dye that glows under a blacklight. Something vision intensive like driving, would be nearly impossible. http://foxlabs.com/pepperspray.shtml&q...
