We hunt the Texas Public Lands for dove and always get checked by a game warden on opening weekend. If the game warden asks for hunting license, I ask if he wants ID also. If he says yes, I show TX DL and CHL, if he says no, I don't bother.

I use a Crossbreed Super Tuck for my 3" Kimber 1911. It is the second Crossbreed holster I own. Luckily I found Crossbreed before I bought a box full of ones I don't like!

Thanks for the replies. I guess I was confused on the CHL or instructor part. The process is getting easier though.
