Re: Glock vs. 1911 - Good vs. Evil - Jedi vs. Sith
wow, this little joke thread took off ...
Real estate like a double-barrel shotgun today - working two deals but both are scattershot - lotsa waiting by the phone for calls, faxes, emails.
As for Han Solo, great theories all, but true Star Wars fans know that Capt. Solo carries a modified "broom handle" Mauser C96 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauser_C96" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I do like H&K for Vader - Mk23 with a "mask" (silencer) to control its loud breathing. Of course, that whiny punk Anakin starts with a slingshot and never shows enough maturity to use more than Daisy Red Rider.
No way that Yoda or Qui Gon-Jinn used anything but a Colt Peacemaker. Even Obi Wan probably uses an early S&W double-action .38 ... those old guys never did take to semi-auto pistols
Mace Windu? A gold-plated Desert Eagle with shiny purple grips ..... he's a bad mutha ... shut your mouth! I'm just talkin' about Mace Windu

Glock vs. 1911 - Good vs. Evil - Jedi vs. Sith
OK, this whole thread is just for fun razzing of each other over our preferred choice in handguns so that we can stop bothering everyone else's threads.
Some have called Glock "The Dark Side" ... so be it ...
Look TAM, I'm kickin' your butt with my vastly superior Force skills
Of course, since the 1911 is much older and grayer (stainless, nickel plated, etc) shouldn't it be the Evil Emporer and Glock is the young Jedi apprentice come to save the day?
Personally, I prefer Han Solo anyway "hokie religions and ancient weapons are no match for a (Glock) at your side, kid."
Continuing with the theme, I guess all the pocket .380s are Ewoks? And snub-nose revolvers are the Jawas?
Maybe a Browning HI Power is Yoda? After all both the Hi Power and the 1911 use The Force (John Moses Browning), but the 1911 was seduced by the dark side (Colt) and the Hi Power remained pure ....
OK, so this is like Mad LIbs ... y'all fill in the rest of the story (and no, as great as Chuck Norris is, he was not in Star Wars, so keep him out )
