I'm at day 84 from the time they received my packet. Looks like I have to wait 90 + days from the looks of everyones post. I still check every evening
to see if there is a change from "Processing Application".

I called DPS today just to see were my application status was. They are still doing a background check. Most likely because I had a previous address located in Florida. So there is some extra time involved here.

I checked DPS today and it still says "Processing Application". I'm going to assume by May 10th I should see something?? That would be 60 days from the time they received my packet.

You should be able to click the "quote" button in the top right of the comment. That gave me your comment with "quote="skeetshooter"" in brackets followed by your post. At the end of your comment was "/quote" in brackets again. I just put my cursor after the end quote code and hit 'return' to space it below the quoted comment. I use Firefox and Safari, and it works identically on both. Hope this helps.

As a former UNIX Admin, what happened to the security firewall?? Anyway, I did receive my PIN today and it took every bit of 6 weeks to get it.

PS: How do you add someone elses quote to my post to make a comment on that quote? It keeps giving me the syntax for the quote and not the actual quote mark.

I just called DPS and the lady told me their computers have been down since Wednesday due to a virus. Just peachy!!

Geez.. I called DPS Yesterday and I'm still not in the system. Just craziness!

Hello to everyone! I was looking around to see how long others were waiting in line... doesn't look good. My Colt Defender .45 will have to wait a little longer. I also ordered an IWB TT Gunleather holster, they are taking about 12 -16 weeks to custom make this. I guess both the CHL and the holster will arrive about the same time. YEA! According to some other dates posted I should see my pin this coming week. Here are my dates:
