More than half the stash of .380 I accumulated by using my Academy routine is JHP. For a few weeks it was all they had. Not the fancy stuff, just their own brand Monarch 94gr JHP. Both the JHP and FMJ Monarch 380 has performed flawlessly in my Bersa. It was pretty cheap too about $13 / 50 box IIRC. This was last summer so it may have gone up since then.

I have a Bersa Thunder 380 (the regular version not the CC). I've been very pleased with it. It's been reliable and I enjoy shooting it. I carry mine at times as it is a little smaller than my P239. I think they are a bargain considering the quality of the pistol.

If you are looking for .380 ammo I've found that Academy stores are the best source. I called around all their local stores early every morning, and rushed off to the store if they had some in. After a few trips I had all I wanted.

There are a couple of forums that have some good information about Bersa pistols. As with most online gun forums some patience can be needed...
