Re: People who really need more training
One may be called upon to reload one's weapon and one doesn't have to rack the slide on a revolver. We should all know our limitations in whatever endeavor that we're engaged in. You reckon? :tiphat: :iagree: In fact if you can't operate a manual transmission there is another option out there for t...

Re: CHL & Motorcycles
Here are my babies!!! I have carried in a holster without any discomfort. I pretty much know the bars in this area who post no guns, so I stay away. However If I know I am going to one of them like Dukes or Strokers, I will put it in my side bag ahead of time.

:iagree: I voted NO because the constitution doesn't give any rights to citizens. It protects civil rights that existed before. Well before the constitution, we did not have any rights! So what are you saying then? :headscratch The Bill of Rights established protections for rights that existed befo...

USA Today POLL
Our new Attorney General has already said this is one of his major issues. > > This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. > > Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a few seconds of your time. Then pass the link > on to all the pro gun folks you know. > Hopefully th...

Re: People who really need more training
I know many on here disagree with what I am about to say. But I firmly believe, based on me talking to many other license holders about how often they practice, tells me that the vast majority dont go back to the range after getting their license. I go to the range at least once per month. I do thi...

Re: People who really need more training
Has a CHL instructor on here not pass a student????? Yes, I have. Blatant disregard for the safety of others on the range will get you tossed in a heartbeat. Skill problems, equipment problems, we can work on that. But we don't put up with attitude or behavior issues. :iagree: And that's the way it...

I adore my PX4 storm, it's my daily carry. I've converted it form an F to a G model, put on low profile levers and a stainless steel guide rod... Love it. Welcome! I agree, I too love my PX4 Storm! For me I think it is much more comfortable for carrying outside the waist band as opposed to IWB. I w...

Re: People who really need more training
I like cute, one-liner responses as much as the next guy. The CHL instructor will not sign their form if they don't get a passing score. I would hope so but I believe that she should of not passed since she missed most of the center of the target and was very unsafe with her weapon. But hey I don't...

Re: People who really need more training
I like cute, one-liner responses as much as the next guy. But anyone have a SERIOUS response to this? :bigear: Well I guess I know my answer now! I was wondering if anyone has ever flunked their CHL :nono: You would think if she is unsafe now she must of been during her qualification! When I was qu...

Re: January Applicants
I feel sorry for all you January applicants that are still waiting! I mailed my packet the first week of Febuary and received my license April 17th. The DPS system make no sense to me at all :banghead: Just when I think I have it down, I find that even some of the December applicants have not receiv...
