Yep. Look at how many high-volume restaurants will fall all over themselves to fix something for a customer whose purchases don't even amount to .01% of their daily business. Word of mouth is powerful advertising, and you never know for sure that the guy buying a soda today won't hook you up with a major catering job tomorrow. It may not be politically correct to point this out, but we're in Texas. If I want a taco, I can easily get one from somebody named Jimenez or Castillo who lives here, not from some Italians in New York.
I won't even get Italian food from Italians in New York if I can help it. The ones here tend to understand how to fill a plate.
