With prices dropping there's no reason not to get a Tier 1 rifle, especially if you plan on taking any carbine course, using it for protection during dire situations, or throwing a lot of lead during a zombie outbreak, etc.. BCM's can be found or built in the $1100 range easy. LMT's are in the same ballpark. There's even a dealer (think it was Bachman Pawn) at gun shows selling NIB Colt 6920 for $1099.
Do your homework on it and know what you want before you plop down some money.

I am totally in the dark when it comes to AR's. But I know I want one more than ever especially if the prices continue to drop Does anyone have a CMMG rifle specifically the M4A3 as advertised? My cousin (ex-military) said to go with a COLT AR and not skimp on quality. Any thoughts???
