To be perfectly honest with you the gun has been a little 'sticky' for a long time but I was blaming the ammo for some of it (and the newness)
I think the reliability may come in time but this has had almost 300 rounds through it and I still get FTFs from time to time. Today I had half a dozen or so in 80 rounds.
It really isn't a good target pistol because of the low profile sights, nor is it a 'distance' pistol but it is so easy to conceal that I use it all the time but my primary carry is the G30 SF.
Time will tell how much the gun runs smoother after a few more 100 rounds.

Re: Bersa Thunder 380 CC Slide issue
Well I took the Bersa to the gunsmith and was somewhat vindicated when they couldn't initially get the slide back on either!
It turns out that the trigger drawbar was sticking out of true a little preventing the slide from engaging with the rails.
It just hand pushed back into place and all was well again.
Thank you all for your help and hopefully this will give others something else to check if their Bersa has the same issue.

Re: Bersa Thunder 380 CC Slide issue
Thank you for all the assistance.
I am taking it to the shop (hopefully today). I don't think it is the spring causing the issue as the barrel goes through the muzzle port without any problems.
I will let you know the outcome of the trip to the gunsmith.

Re: Bersa Thunder 380 CC Slide issue
Thank you, but still no joy.
The clock is ticking on this particular gun. I can't be fussed with a gun that can't be field stripped and reassembled quickly and easily.
Good job it is just a BUG, but now I guess I need to consider what to replace it with.
Watch this space....there may be some 380 ammo oming onto the market

Bersa Thunder 380 CC Slide issue
I everyone.
Well I have an issue with this Bersa.
Before I take it back from whence it came to get looked over I thought I would ask for advice in here.
I have dismantled the gun for cleaning several times in the last few weeks and have always got the thing reassembled without any problems but yesterday I dismantled the gun and the sucker won't re-assemble. The slide refuses to catch onto the slide rails. There doesn't appear to be any foriegn bodies in the way and the gun is clean. Nothing seems 'bent' or loose.
I am at a total loss, but I will keep on trying to re-assemble the gun before I take it back to the gun shop tomorrow.
Any advice? Anything I need to check for that I may be missing?
