No. What I am saying is that you along with everybody else is entitled to give your opinion, but if those opinions upset you or cause you any discomfort then the you always have other options.
I have never been in the position of an LEO, but I have been in the postion of carrying firearms while shopping, consequently I am following the shooting death of Mr Scott with a great deal of interest as it has implications and considerations to me as a CHL holder. I believe that (from what I read both on this website and at many other news sites) the LVMPD is closing ranks. The evidence, to me at least, does not seem to be adding up to how Officer Mosher would have the inquest believe. I for one am not seeking revenge, just hoping for justice.

Oh we have lots of those.
But then what do you expect in an online forum?
That'll teach me to post without my glasses on while watching football

Officer Mosher? Welcome to the forum.Terlingueno wrote:I am seeing a lot of:

Armchair terrorists? Where? I must have missed that? I have read no terroristic threats on this, or any other thread.
Non- witnesses? Really? In a Texas CHL forum nobody was in Las Vegas? Imagine that!
People who aren't LEO? Meaning? That only LEO's have an opinion? It may not have come to your attention but this isn't an LEO forum, it is a CHL holders forum.
Conspiracy theorists? Not really. Passing opinion that this will be a whitewash? Yes.
Blather? In a forum? Image that!
Chest thumping? Please give an example of where this is the case?

Re: CHL holder killed by police in Las Vegas at a Costco
My own opinion is that no such video exists unfortunately. I thinks that Scott's father is hinting that one does in a failed attempted to try and keep the officers 'honest'. I really hope I am wrong and that video evidence does exist to clear up what actually happened. I hate the very thought of 'dirty cops' but I hate the thought of corrupt justice even more.Beiruty wrote:Wow imagine if there was a real video that clearly captured the incident. Imagine that such video shows up in court. Are those who testified would be proven to lie under oath?

That picture speaks volumes to me. No wonder honest law biding people are afraid to come forward.

Only the fact that this is a total kangaroo court designed only to show the LVMPD in a positive light regradless of what the truth actually is.bronco78 wrote: Did we not hear testimony that Erik had drawn the gun? Does that testimony and that of officer Mosher above not confect? Or am I missing something in context and timing of the event.

I think that is about as likely as them calling Gil Grisom back in to investigate it!philip964 wrote:
Its now Las Vegas's big turn to show us they know how to investigate a shooting, and present the facts in a complete, honest and straight forward manner.
I would like to think that all of what you wrote will happen, but the cynic in me just can't see it ever happening.
What I think will happen is that there will be insufficent evidence to call it anything but a righteous shoot. They are not about to throw 3 murd....whoops officers under the bus and place themselves in the media spotlight. LV is almost as corrupt as Chicago so I don't expect anything but plaudits for the shooters and a villifying of Mr Scott.

Re: CHL holder killed by police in Las Vegas at a Costco
I admit that I haven't read the entire thread here but something doesn't add up here.
If an officer was close enough to tap the deceased on the shoulder, weren't the other officers risking hitting him when firing at the now deceased? Sounds like reckless endangerment to me.
That somehow doesn't add up to me.
Thoughts are prayers for all parties.
