That has my curiosity going. I was under the impression that the CHL training requirements were standardized by the state. How much latitude does an instructor have to impose requirements that go beyond those imposed by statute or regulation? Could you impose a minimum caliber of .38 if you desired? Could you require everyone to shoot one-handed with the weak hand? What are the limitations on the instructors ability to impose restrictions based on personal belief or whim?
