Re: Ethanol free
I noticed ever since ethanol was mandated the price of food started going up. We shouldn’t be turning food into gas. All it’s been doing is making the price of beef and diary go up. I had a mower that ran great for a year or two but then the ethanol gas tore it up. I sprayed it out with carb cleaner...

Re: Stimulus checks
I’m not sure what I’m going to spend my check on yet. There is one thing though that all my friends and family agree on and that is we are going to make sure whatever we get with it if at all possible is not made in China.

Re: DPS unveils new design for LTC card
If they ran your name through NCIC it will show that you have an LTC. In regards to another post about a digital copy of an ID if you use Apple Wallet you can access cards and IDs while the rest of the phone is still locked.

Re: 2 Gun
To bring a thread back from the dead but I have recently been wondering the same thing. I’ve just discovered the YouTube channel the OP posted and I’ve become interested in 2 gun matches too. I like how every one they go to is completely different. I don’t have any interest in 3 gun matches. There’s...

Re: Illegal Kitty Keychain
Three felonies a day. Make enough laws and everyone is a criminal “Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... Ther...

Is there anyway to change the thread titles from red? It's too hard on the eyes.

Re: Sig...did I limp wrist it?
I'm not sure what is going on. I read a couple of articles about the new 229s not working right. As far as I'm concerned a good quality firearm of any kind should be able to fire any ammo. If it won't function with some ammo I'm not interested. The only exception being tight groups with certain ammo...

NJSP are having an issue too but it looks like it might be their cheap range ammo. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/ ... ing-p229s/

Re: Are Grill Covers Really Needed?
I cover my grill. It's all steel and the grates are made of thick cast iron so if I don't cover it it will rust. Besides that if I don't cover it then the rain will go down the smokestack and get the charcoal ashes all wet and then become a pain to dump out.

Re: Private sale of a handgun by an Illinois resident to a Texas resident
Dd you fly or drive up there? If you drove he could then just gift it to you and keep the government out of it all together. Keep it at his house until you left and then put it in your trunk. If you flew I could see wanting to do the FFL transfer to avoid hassle at the airport.

About time fees reduced
It looks like Texas is finally going to lower the high price to get a LTC. For me between the cost of the classes and then the $140 the money involved has served as a poll tax for me as I have been unable to afford it. When I lived here before I was able to get my CHL but since I moved back it has b...

Re: new SA and RRA info
this is a new article and needs it's own thread not buried 4 pages into an existing one about an article from last week. New revelations need a new thread or no one will see.
