Absolutely correct. You're only restricted on the type of handgun you can carry if you qualify on a revolver. If you qualify with a semi-auto, you can carry either/both.usa1 wrote:im pretty sure it works like this in Texas, but someone correct me if im wrong.

Jeff ... I would recommend carrying whatever you are most comfortable with as your primary piece if all other factors are equal.
I've heard good things about the Kahr as a carry piece, and certainly a revolver is a pretty safe choice for carry as well. Other factors might influence one or the other frame other the other, and I don't think carrying both is over doing it if practical, so it depends on you.
