If I am not mistaken, in Texas a rear-end collision, no matter what the reason, is always the fault of the rear-ender (No laughing here :nono:).
:iagree: You are correct. If you rear end someone, it is your fault, as you are supposed to leave ample distance and time between the vehicles to safely stop.

If someone is literally _on my bumper_, as this officer obviously was, and I was in my company truck... I might feel inclined to brake check them....

"Sorry officer, I thought I saw something race out in front of me on the road."

I have a dent back there, and could use a new bumper or rear end "rlol" :smilelol5:
