You could also show him instances of when a CHL holder stopped the attacker before hurting anyone or hurting more. Then you could mention that if he puts up proper signage there won't be anyone around like that to even have the possibility of stopping someone until the police arrive minutes later. You could ask him how many of his flock is he willing to sacrifice until they arrive?

The issue for me isn't the kneeling position itself, but rather the getting to and from that. It's kinda like bending over to pick things up off the bottom shelf in the store.

Depends on the kind of school and if it meets the state's definition of a school. Sunday school does not meet that definition.

Where is the definition of school that is referenced in penal code 46.03?

It's a K-12 private school.

Same building or attached? Mine also has K-8, but not in the same building or attached. So, I carry in church.
