Re: Failed to immediately show CHL
Just a quick note about hubby in the dog house. I don't want you guys to think I am a heartless woman. The stupid thing he did was with a "lady" of the evening who happened to be an undercover cop. Found out there has been a regular pattern of these activities for our entire marriage...nope, he is doing time in the dog house for quite a while.

Re: Failed to immediately show CHL
Dealing with HPD can drive you crazy. My husband was arrested for doing something stupid while down there on business. The bail bond places I talked to initially all told me you can get arrested for just about anything in that town. He has been to court 4 times and the lawyer is never ready because the dept never seems to be able to send the lawyer the evidence info he needs yet the court still requires him to appear. It's like groundhog day. Trying to get them on the phone for anything takes an all day camp out on hold. My car, which he was driving, was towed after the arrest and none of the 10 people I talked to could tell me where the car was for almost 24 hours. I took the advice of one kind policeman I talked to who told me to just report it stolen and they would suddenly be able to find it. Worked like a charm. They found it in 10 minutes. If you look on the internet, you will find out towed cars there regularly end up in auctions and owners often can't find them. It's a racket. I would say if you live in that town, go to great lengths to avoid the attention of the police. It's not that they are all bad, its that the entire legal system seems to be a madhouse and there is little sympathy for the people caught in it. Just my personal experience, which I will never let the spouse now living in the doghouse to forget.
