I don't know of any shooting range that posts a 30.06 sign. That would defeat the purpose of why they are in business to begin with.sjfcontrol wrote:But "No Loaded Firearms" is not a 30.06 sign. So does it necessarily apply to a CHL holder?

Where I shoot, there's a big sign on the outside saying no loaded firearms allowed upon entering. As all the employees open carry, I feel pretty safe in abiding by that rule. I take the mag out of the pistol, with chamber empty, and go in. I've not had a problem doing it that way. YMMV depending on the range rules.sjfcontrol wrote:Along a similar vein, what about use of a concealed handgun at a shooting range? Can you CC up to the shooting line, then unholster, change ammo to FMJ, and fire away?
