A cheap holster is just that...cheap. It's not made for comfort like the others mentioned. A good quality holster makes ALL the difference. A quality holster will last for years and the expense is worth the comfort you'll get. I have a Don Hume holster that cost $30 that I love. Admittedly that's a low end holster but it serves my needs just great. But I also don't carry a hand cannon either!
A LOT of holster makers have great conceal holsters in the $45-$85 range. Going to a gun show or a gun store that has a good selection of holsters is a great way to choose one. A lot of gun stores will let you try one out WITH your gun. Just ask them.
