Plastic in Hand!!!!
I have heard some say there is not glowing light, no music, nothing. I'm here to tell you thats wrong!
Hoping today was the day I kept myself busy waiting for the mailman. Ok I slept until noon. When I awoke my mail box had a distinct glow to it. As I ran down stairs and out the front the bricks glowed like a pot of gold. I knew this was the day, granted there is not a cloud in the sky and its 95 degrees. I put on my polorized sunglasses and proceeded to open the mail box. The handle was hard to find in the glowing light. As I lowered the door I could here what souned like party music. It was faint but was there. Could not make out the words over all my neighbors lawn mowers. digging threw piles of the wifes catalogs and some bills there it was, almost blinding. I ripped it open and all of sudden a silence, and the light was gone. One little piece of plastic stuck in a peice of thick paper. I will say that it is the best piece of 3 cent plastic I have ever seen!
For all those waiting it will come but waiting SUCKS!

Well i just got home and checked to see if my status has changed since I found out it was issued yesterday and guess what.
Application complete-license was issued
Now just the snail mail part! Do you really have to do the Wally Walk?

Re: March 2009 Applications
Well I broke down and called the DPS today. I spoke with a somewhat polite lady who told me my license was issued on the 9th. She was not sure why my info had not updated on there website. I was told seven to ten days. I'm at 91 days now, so I will be around 100 days when it gets here. I'm not going to hold my breath since many have been told the same thing and have waited another month or so. Now I'm really anxious!

Re: March 2009 Applications
WonderNine, very well said. I'm in the same camp as you but mailed mine five days or so later. I have not called or even emailed. All that can do is slow down the proccess! I have ordered holsters, shot some, and tried several diff shirts for summer carry. Again very well said. Although I do check about 12pm everyday online and again when I get home that night with my fingers crosssed.

Re: March 2009 Applications
Well guys and gals I just found this forum so I thought I would join you in the waiting room. All my dates are below. Have had no rejections or notices on anything.
Shawn, I see that we got our proccesing on the same day so it will be interesting to see what happens. What county are you in if you don't mind?
