I skipped the Red Dots completely... went straight to a Bushnell Scope. When we were at the 25 yard range there was a guy sitting next to us shooting with an Eotech... needless to say he was amazed at how much more accurate my wife was shooting. Nw I just need to find time and get out to a 100+ yar...

Perfectly normal... Please dont boil your gun. It doesn't hurt anything at all, go over to Glock talk and do a search for "pignose".

BTW my 23 has a pignose but my 22 and 27 are straight... doesn't matter.

What a blast! My dad and I went to the range on saturday with our M4s and handguns. We wanted to see how the ARs would do at longer ranges so we started at 420yds shooting at a torso gong. It was amazing I just put the Eotech dot right on the Center of the gong and Boom.... Ping! we were hitting it...

curious where you go to find 500 yard rifle ranges with silhouette gong targets? anyone know anything like this within 100 mile radius of Austin? Had both... Sold the Supertuck. MTAC is more comfortable to me.

I have always carried Gold dot 165gr in my G23C without an issue. I've killed quite a few hogs and a horse(had to put him down, he twisted a gut) with that pistol and that bullet so I figure it'll do ok on a two legged predator. I have tried Hydra-shoks, starfire, and TAP, and they were all good but...

I use Howard Leight Impact Sport electronic muffs and I love them. They amplify ambient noise and block out loud sounds. I got them at Academy Sports on sale for like 50 bucks.
