Re: Ballistics Comparison for Subcompact .40, .45, and .357 Sig
That's been a good website for me to visualize ballistics. Proper and thorough training is a given, for ANY chosen firearm...although I can't say IDPA over one or the other...kinda like the whole NAUI - PADI diver argument...

Re: CHL presentation question
I fully expected a ticket. You're just pizzy because you got the ticket you deserved. HAHAHAHA! :woohoo There is a fine line between "I don't have to" and "I should probably..." In many places it is not illegal to carry a shotgun while taking a walk...probably not a good idea to ...

Re: CHL presentation question
I KNOW! I have two issues at the moment...1) I don't have a suitable holster for my large frame auto, and using my messenger bag would be cheating...and 2) All three Wallys in my area are out Out OUT of ammo. :banghead: It just wouldn't be the same to do my walk to purchase golf balls or a chinese t...

Re: CHL presentation question
I was pulled over tonight, just a week into having my CHL...I was speeding and I KNEW I was popped. It went something like this: LEO: "Evening...license and insurance please..." (he was standing out of my field of view, but I rolled down all my windows and turned on my map lights) me: &quo...

Re: Ballistics Comparison for Subcompact .40, .45, and .357 Sig
I would love a 10mm, but I am concerned about readily available ammo, without stockpiling a year at a time and adding to the already panic driven ammo hoarding...not that there's anything wrong with that... ;^)

Ballistics Comparison for Subcompact .40, .45, and .357 Sig
I am looking to buy a new pistol, and REALLY liked the size of my LEO friend's backup..the "baby glock" 33, in .357 Sig. I ALSO like, however, my father's new Glock 23 in .40 cal...although it's not as small (obviously). I DO like the compact line's accessory rail not found on the subcompa...

Re: YEA!!!
haha...yeah, I have a few bullets lying around...I just wanted my Wally Walk to be official!
I am still trying to check my father's status...but I misplaced his PIN. Hopefully when he returns to TX he'll have his plastic waiting as well.

Re: April 2009 Applications
Wow, that's a cannon! I've already decided to return the bag and get either a "small" or "medium"...the XS is just too tiny for carrying my 92F and anything else...and since it's a "messenger bag", I think I should at least be able to carry messages. Well, you get the i...

Re: April 2009 Applications
I'm thinking about going to the gun range to purchase a holster...the one I have is not suitable for concealed carry...it's a gigantic Bianchi combat holster. I just bought a Timbuk2 messenger bag for the "in-the-meantime". This after making fun of my cop friend for his MURSE... Anyone els...

Re: "Waiting Room"
fingers crossed! =) one thing that has me concerned...the "JR" was left off my name on the pin # letter, and so was my apt. number. I'm not sure if this was "clerical" shorthand, or if my plastic is going to arrive that way; I don't want this to be a reason I get kicked back...b...
