Re: Let's talk about knives

Okay, liners have different specs. As for the Diskin Fire here's a link http://www.arizonacustomknives.com/Diskin-Fire-by-Matt-Diskin.aspx Liner locks are a joke. IMHO! As for $500 vs. $600 there's really no difference. You said something about the knife that you're selling. This forum has an expres...

Re: Let's talk about knives

Youe mention liner locks, a simple joke I hope! Your Diskin Fire at a price of $600 is also a joke for folks on a budget. While I appreciate input, I'm not too sure that a $600 knife is what the folks here want to drool over. Thanks, but no thanks.

Re: Cell phone holsters and 1/4" thick gun belts - doesn't w

The Maxpedition phone holster referred to in my post above was ordered from Amazon.com and arrived just now. It is just what I wanted/needed. My iPhone 4S is in a protective case which makes it a bit longer than 4.5" high and 2.25" wide. I ordered the 5" holster and it fits just fine...

Re: Let's talk about knives

The large Cold Steel Espada is in my opinion an excellent EDC for self defense purposes. Bought one and love after seeing in another thread. I agree that the 5.5" cold steel knives are excellent for SD, and EDC. As I carried the cold steel voyager XL for years. My new supervisor had an issue w...

Re: Let's talk about knives

IMO, there is not much difference between the speed of an auto and an assisted opening. They both deploy very quickly, but the self assisted knives I have seen, also spring "IN" while closing...making the "accidental" deployment in your pocket much less likely, along with the fac...

You go to the range for fun!

Men. You take a good a looking woman to the range to teach her how to shoot and have a little fun. Right? She's shooting a H&K USP .45!

Shooters Station with and ol' bud

I had one of my old High School buddies join me at the range. I'm former Army, He's a former Marine! Yes, I say "former", for neither ever leaves you! We had fun.

New California CCW carry.

My cousin spent several years in Texas, and her husband, a Fireman, joined me at the Texas CHL Forum event south of Houston a few years ago. He fell in love with shooting as a result. Now, he is a Fireman back in California, but as a first responder took the opportunity to get a Glock 19 9mm. that h...

Re: Remington 725

Puma Guy,

On the left side of the barrel, near the frame is "L E 30". According to the links you gave me, that means February 1958. What is the "30". is that #30 out of 2,818 made?

Absolutely awesome info by the way! Thank you!

Re: Remington 725

Come to find out, my Father never looked up the history of this gun. Upon talking with him about it, I discovered that the first deer I shot (a Doe) was with this rifle. I was 11 years old. The only pic I could find did not include the gun, but it is of me, Dad, and Grandpa George (Lord rest his sou...
