Re: Using public restrooms while carrying
I always use a stall as well. That way nobody can see it and its harder to get to me in a vulnerable situation .

Re: EECU 30.06 Posted Fort Worth (letter to President)
Way to go. I'm currently on a campaign for every business I run across around here to mail letters to. I've gotten some response, no real results though as I expected. The more letters they get from different people the better chance you have of getting them to change their minds. Would love to hear...

Re: Sounds of a Gun Fight
No fingerprints if the gun were to be dropped at a crime scene? Could be, I guess. Nowadays they can durn nearly get fingerprints off a new tennis ball. They just can't seem to be able to get them when they are taken by by skilled technician on a prepared card. haha, that was exactly what I was thi...

Re: Boating
Another thing I might add is I don't use a Corp boat ramp / park to enter the lake, I use a private marina. There could be a difference there.

Re: Boating
I don't know how accurate the statement "Guns aren't allowed on Corps of Engineer lakes" is. Lake of the Pines is a corp lake and I have been duck hunting on that lake since I was a kid. Tons of people duck hunt out there. I've been stopped by Game Wardens out there while carrying (edit : ...

Re: Traffic Stops
I got mine back in 01 maybe and I've probably been pulled over 6 times since then, maybe 7. Out of those I have received 1 ticket and it was for speeding from a local cop. Every other one was by a state trooper for speeding and one for not wearing a seatbelt and I was let go on all of those. Did the...

Re: Opinion on Carry at a mall near me
Oh yea, I'm not giving up on this just yet. See the way I see it is I have a lot of free time right now at work as I'm in the car business and it is slow. I figure I have at least 20 companies with a long list of executives that need to receive an email from me. Also working hard to get my friends/r...

Re: Opinion on Carry at a mall near me
If anyone is in the Longview, Tyler area that reads this I would encourage you to write the mall and every business in it. It doesn't take very long and the results I have gotten so far are far more positive than I expected. If these places are bombarded with letters / emails from the concerned publ...

Re: Opinion on Carry at a mall near me
I received a response from the District Manager for Dillards. Looks like it is at least making the rounds. I am in receipt of your letter as I supervise the group of stores to which the Longview store belongs. Thank you for taking the time to write. I have forwarded your email to our Real Estate off...
