My only reason for suggesting it be unloaded while practicing wearing it at home is to get used to it initially. Not knowing what experience a person has with a gun, and because the concealed part is new, I think it's a good idea to practice at first at home carrying it unloaded, especially if they are going to be getting used to taking the gun out of the holster and putting it back in the holster while they are wearing it. Again, it's just to get familiar with it. No reason to continue carrying unloaded at home once that is done.

While you're waiting for the review process to progress through all the stages, I hope you're getting in some practice time with the LCR at the range, and that you're practicing carrying at home (with it unloaded) to get used to "wearing" it. Also, the material on this site provides a lot of useful information, and now is a perfect time to spend reviewing it.
