Re: Glock 26 AND Glcck 19 question ?
I can't comment directly on the 19/26. I have a Gen3 22, 26, and a 27. The 22 is actually the least pleasant to shoot for me. I have average to largish hands. After 150-200 rounds I don't really want to shoot the 22 anymore. My wrist and right middle knuckle are usually sore by this point and every further trigger pull just results in more misery. I'm not sure why this happens, I can shoot hot .44, .357, and .45 all day and not usually have any soreness. Shooting the 27 on the other hand is much more enjoyable. I can run 300+ and still ready for more. I do use a Pierce +1 extension on the 27. I had attributed the decrease in abuse to the double stack recoil spring, but I'm not certain this is the only factor. Previously I've considered placing a stiffer spring in the 22 but a little hesitant to mess with the factory balance and risk a reliability issue in a otherwise great pistol. Accuracy wise, I can't appreciate a difference until getting out to 15+ yards. If I am shooting a pistol for that range, then I picked the wrong tool for the job.
