EDIT: I bought a small lockable safe that I leave it in in case of having to leave my car in someone else's hands or in a parking lot where I can't carry into a building.

Not a dealer but my local car repair is where I take my car. After I started carrying in my car (before CHL) I went to one of the guys I know and said hey, would it be OK to put something behind the counter rather than leave it in the car? He said sure! When I brought in my Glock 19 in its original carrying case, he said, oh, cool. What your got? I showed it to him and then he showed me his Glock. He had the Time Planner carry case and I thought hey, I want one of those. So I bought one and still use it. Now I have a bunch of new CHL friends as practically everyone in that shop has their license. Heard some real good stories too!
