I trust you will love Texas. I'm not a native, but I got here as quick as I could. :-)

Pro-CHL REALTOR® in Houston
As a pro-CHL REALTOR® in the Houston area, I've had some interesting experiences. I almost always carry, but rarely does the topic ever come up with clients. Many of my close friends know of my persuasions, but most of my clients have no idea. My work has put me into a few neighborhoods that are som...

Re: Shiloh Indoor Shooting Range, Northwest Houston
+1 for Shiloh. They staff are pleasant to work with and very friendly. They have an indoor range that is quite nice - you can control your own target in your own lane. I've taken my wife, and several friends there. The last time I took my wife was on a busy Saturday - the parking lot was full, as th...

Re: WTB LCR FTF HOU
There is a new Guns and Ammo store on Cypress North Houston, just east of 290 (on the north side of the road). I just bought a brand new Ruger LCR there for $389. That's pretty tough to beat!

Re: Test of Response Time
The next time, stay in the house. I understand why you investigated, and I've done so myself in the past, but it is a major tactical error to leave the safety of the inside of your home. If you stay inside the house, you have the tactical advantage. For instance.... A) What if, while your back was ...

Test of Response Time
So you know how you always wonder how you would respond in an emergency? How fast is your response time if needed? Well, this morning, around 4:45, my wife shook me because she heard something outside. I woke up immediately, and also heard it. I was instantly alert, and within seconds grabbed the lo...

One word: Home-schooling. *Shameless plug over, we now continue our regular broadcast!* :tiphat: For what it's worth, I agree that this President seems unable to speak without spewing his agenda everywhere. Expect preaching about the environment, social justice, carbon, health care, volunteerism, etc.

Re: Stranger Slaps Crying Child In Wal-Mart
This didn't happen in Texas.
It does make me wonder... Although I would be infuriated, it is not exactly cause to draw on him unless there is reason to believe he will poses a larger threat?!
Interested to see what y'all think.

Re: ammo on sale
I almost cried last week when I walked into the Walmart at 249 and 1960 and they had BOXES and BOXES of 9mm for a decent price... ($8.48/ box of 50)
I promptly bought 5 boxes and shot at the range that night.
Now if I could just get some more .380...

Re: So ,Whats Up With This "Face Book" thing ?
Facebook can be an incredibly useful tool helping you keep in touch with friends and family across the world... it can also be a ridiculous time-waster detracting from real relationships. When you spend more time with 'electronic' relationships than 'live' ones, something might be wrong. Having said...

I asked my wife yesterday on the way home from church, "So.... where was I carrying today?" She had no idea, and had just spent 7 hours in close proximity to me. WOW! And I thought OUR preacher could just go on and on.... ;-) "rlol" :smilelol5: Oh yeah... guess that woul...
