Re: .380 ammo
Thusday April 8 Cabela's In Buda, TX has plenty of .380. I can't remember if it was Monarch but it was 17.99Bx/50, WWB 18.99Bx/50 and Aquila JHP about $25-27.00Bx/50. Dick's in San Marcos - NONE. Didn't check the Academy Stores on I-35. GT Distrubuting in Austin - ZERO .380.

Re: .380 ammo
Ah! A Freudian slip. I haven't had lunch. Actually I see quite a bit of Berdan primed as I do ammo searches. No reloadabilty is a bummer for sure. I've heard several reasons for .380 shortage. The most interesting was that there's not a great demand for .380. Makes no sense to me.NcongruNt wrote:Hrm, I did not realize they were berdan primed. That makes them significantly less valuable to me, as I can't reload them. Who makes Berdan-primed .380 any more?
Still, a decent deal for cheap plinking ammo. My guess is that they're buying it up in bulk from Cabela's and then reselling it by the box. Still, they're certainly not scalping the stuff, as they would only be making about $1/box that way (buying it for $340/1000 rounds).
By the way, it's Whitestone Castle Armory. Though, White Castle Armory would explain how they get all those holes in the burgers!

Re: .380 ammo
White Castle Armory (i'm not affiliated with them) has Herter's .380 @ 17.95 per bx 50. 95 grn FMJ 3 box minimum. Discounts for bulk. It's Berdan primed NC brass case. Just phoned to make sure and the have 250+ bx in stock. Hey it's someting to shoot in my "little llama" Price does not include shipping but 500 rounds is $13.01 from Austin to Houston.

Hi Astro99Astro99 wrote:Help I need some .380 ammo for my new lcp it's gonna be my main carry. I've had the hardest time finding ammo for it I would at least want to put 50 fmj through it so I know it works. I did order some Speer gold dots that will be here tomorrow but too expensive to shoot if anyone knows where to pick some fmj up on the Katy Houston area let me know. I did find some indapendance fmj but I refuse to pay 39.99 for 50. Thanks in advance
Here are a couple of links to Ammo. Most are online so if you're unsuccessful locally you might try them. The first link is on Bill StClair. It has a box to enter zipcode to calculate shipping. The StClair site lists several online sellers. I have used Ammoman, sometimes he has some good deals with free shipping always. You may have to copy and paste the gun-deals link. Good Luck
