Limiting sales to contributing members is a great idea to stop this from becoming another Texas gun trading site. Maybe the hurdle should be more than 45 posts we have now. Maybe it should be 250 posts and six months of membership. But I don't see what benefit to members to restrict who we can sell to.
If someone has a CHL, I have no problem selling to them, even if they're not a Chatty Cathy. On the other hand, if they can't show a Texas CHL, I won't sell to them, even if they joined 4 years ago and have thousands of posts. Even if they're police or military. No CHL = no sale. That's my choice, but I don't feel the need to deny other members the right to make their own choice.
