I had a Buckmark and it was accurate, easy to shoot and reliable, but it just wasn't me. It just didn't scratch the itch for me because it didn't feel like a personal defense weapon; it felt more like a clunky long distance hole puncher. I also wanted something that could be a back-up carry weapon, but the autos like the P22 and Mosquito, from what I've read, require gourmet gun chow and I wanted something that would eat bricks of cheap Federal. Sooo-I ended up with a Taurus 2" model 94 revolver and I've never regretted it. It looks and feels just like the 38 except instead of 5 big holes in the cylinder, it's got 9 itty bitty holes.
I've put at least 4 bricks through it (2200 rounds) and it's been awesome; I even pocket carry it because I can. I highly recommend this little J.
