I have around 2000 rounds through my 3.8 XDm 9mm and I can report the same perfect track record. I can't say enough good things about it. I've shot it dirty and I've shot it when it could use more lube. I've tried different brands of target and defensive ammo and it fires it all. If there is a downside, its that I have to remind myself I should still practice malfunction drills
