Re: 1/2 of Police Force in Camden NJ to let go!
Camden is worse then the arm pit of New Jersey. i got lost in Camden looking for my girl friends house and wound up in the ghetto. It was a sobbering event for a college student. That was years ago and Camden was no better then it is today. At least in Texas you can defend yourself. Jersey gun laws ...

Re: powder dispensing woes/solutions
All the color Dots seem to be good shotgun powders but not too god in the pistol dept. I have not loaded shotgun since I was a teen. :headscratch -barely remember that far back. Well, it depends on what caliber it is. It's really only suitable for higher-pressure and Magnum pistol calibers - 9mm, ....

Re: powder dispensing woes/solutions
Longtooth has nailed that one. Some powders do measure better then others. If it continues to happen, find another powder that meters better. I've never had metering problems but i've kept my powder selection consistant with the help of others.......

Re: powder dispensing woes/solutions
the Pact is not identical to the RCBS and looks more like a Lyman dispenser. I am looking at my RCBS right now and they arent really close. My RCBS is very cool and despenses powder smoothly. I use it mostly for single stage Garand and 308 rounds. As perfect i suppose as you can get for the money......

Re: transfering/moving........
Are we talking military transfer here? If so, will Texas become his state of residence? The whole time I was stationed in CA, Texas was still my state of residence. If NC remains his state of residence he shouldn't have to change his DL or CHL/CCW (whatever it is in NC). he is not military........

transfering/moving........

Also is the NRA basic pistol class certification valid for a Texas CCW permit even though it was given in another state??? He has taken the NRA class from me when he li...

Re: How would I recognize an MIM part?
Ok, pistols use MIM parts, but think about this. ALL Tungsten-carbide parts are sintered parts with binders in them. So are ceramics. Proper sintering allows ample time for atomic diffusion to decrease the voids in the material to a point where they are no longer an issue. This is why the part alwa...

Re: Collectors of Curio and Relic (C&R) Firearms
you do give up certain rights to the Feds. But they also dont look upon C&R holders like FFL dealers. They do consider us as collectors. Just keep your information up to date and make sure you have your paperwork in order. They can show up at your house without notice. And they can look at your ...
