Of course IANAL but I took TX's stand on this one. The only way anyone will know I have a handgun in the post office is when I pull it. I had wondered the same thing, then I figured I'd get a different answer with each person I asked. I mean. I can't get a straight answer on where to print on an envelope, I am sure firearms would be more than the Post Office could process.
