Previously same company had an employee killed in a shoot out with another "customer" in a tow. Other towdriver, a CHL, killed the "customer" who killed the fellow employee.

So I could see why the towdriver might be a little quick on the trigger.

FYI, Hawaii requires you register your gun, rifle, shotgun within 72 hours of the guns arrival in Hawaii. No exceptions not even for out of state police on business. And better not show up to register it with it loaded and not in a locked box.
