Now another liberal Austin DA had done the same thing to the Governor. I'm not sure I understand this one either. This seems politically motivated to prevent him from becoming President. (I don't think he has a chance, VP maybe)

I was a fan of Tom DeLay and I felt that whole thing was unfair. Now I'm not a big fan of Governor Perry, but this seems just as unfair.

Do we need to move the Capital of Texas out of Austin, so this kind of thing can't happen any more?

It cannot be appealed. The appeals court rendered a judgement of acquittal. Double jeopardy prevents the hag from continuing to go after him. If it didn't, I have no doubt she would pursue him to the gates of heck.
