Re: Ruger LCP - First Range Visit

Thanks for all the replies! I bought it so I could have an every day carry during the summer here in Houston. It is hard to beat a firearm that fits in your front pocket and looks like a wallet... I am really interested in the Kahr PM9. A guy at work has one and I really like it. Now I just need to ...

Ruger LCP - First Range Visit

I took my new LCP to the range yesterday and I am not sure if I like it...did it take anyone a long time to get use to it? I could only stand to put 50 round through it and I had to quit. It was very uncomfortable for me to shoot. The firearm functioned flawlessly, but I would not feel comfortable t...

Re: CrossBreed SuperTuck IWB holster

The belt keeps it tucked in real close to the body rather than sagging to the side a bit.

Re: Belly Band Holster Input?

I have a Smart Carry, but I do not care for it. I have it hanging on my bed post which works well to keep my Kimber close at night. I am thinking a belly band will be better than a pocket holster for now because I am pretty active throughout the day at work right now. I think it would keep it out of...

Re: CrossBreed SuperTuck IWB holster

I have owned two Crossbreed's, one for each gun I have. I wear it 12 hours a day which includes moving around, driving, etc., and I have never had any issues with it being uncomfortable. I do have to add that the belt Crossbreed makes will make the holster even better. I had trouble concealing my Sp...

Belly Band Holster Input?

Hey Guy's,

I got a Ruger LCP to carry while at work. I move around quite a bit and thought about getting a belly band holster to tuck it away along with an extra mag. Has anyone tried one out? If so, please let me know the brand and how you liked it.

Thanks

Re: Armed Robbery on UH Campus

I have class until 10 p.m. at the main campus and it would be nice to know that I have protection against a armed criminal.

Trijicon Installation

I just purchased Trijicon night sights, and I need to find a gunsmith preferably on the northeast side of Houston. Gander Mountain charges $70 and Carter's Country is $50 but takes a week. If you have had a good experience with one please let me know which gunsmith and if they are reasonably priced....

Re: Jobs with the Government

Tateb24, I feel your pain man. I graduated from UH back in December with a degree in economics and have had no luck with the job hunt :banghead: . Luckily I was working as an accounting intern when I graduated and now I am part-time staff, but I am miserable. I went to UH's business career fair a co...

Thanks for the advice. I feel 100% better after finding this site today and reading as much as I could. No fears about LEO being unreasonable or having to be extra careful that no trace of a print shows up.

Re: Any bone-head CHLers?

:iagree: I was amazed at how many people failed to insert the magazine, chamber a round, lock it open, and then eject the magazine in front of the class. One student got kicked from the range and denied their RENEWEL for swinging the gun side to side after it jammed and then told the instructor that...

Re: Noob: Intro

Thanks for the welcome guy's. I am already having withdrawals when I get up to try and get something done.....there is a too much info I want to read. I found the thread on holster's. I will have to share this site with a couple of my buddies that would benefit from it.
