Multiple CHL 'types' ?
Okay, please pardon if this is old news. I recently moved to Texas and so I am looking into what is needed to get a CHL and where to do it close to the Spring area.
I moved from Nebraska (please no salt in the wounds of the game Saturday
) and it seems there are some differences. There I could do the shooting part with any handgun (caliber or type) and obtain a license to carry whatever firearm I might have.
I was asking in a shop recently and they informed me that if I take the class and use a revolver for the shooting, I can then ONLY carry a revolver.
I guess my questions are:
1) Are there different types of CHLs?
2) Where is a good place for someone on a budget to fulfill the requirements close to spring?
3) Can the Husker's borrow someone's offense? Please?
